Prioritizing Lighting Upgrades in a Mixed-Use Industrial Space

We operate in a 60,000 square foot facility that includes warehouse, assembly, and admin space. Most of our lighting is still T8 fluorescent and older HID fixtures, and a few areas have been upgraded to LEDs over the years.

We are looking at doing a full lighting retrofit, but we need to prioritize. Management wants to start with the highest impact areas for energy savings and safety.

What types of lighting upgrades have you seen deliver the biggest improvements in industrial settings? Are there certain areas that should always come first, like production zones or loading bays?

Lighting upgrades are most effective based on number of hours a certain light is used. The best strategy is to upgrade high wattage and most used lighting and then moving down the line. Please let me know if this helps answer your question.
