Description of the role:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.
- Work as a team member or independently to complete projects.
- Aptitude to troubleshoot complex electrical and logic problems.
- Observe and abide by safety procedures, policies, and electrical codes.
- Accurately interpret technical documents for proper execution of assignments.
- Conduct quality assurance measures and inspections.
- Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages; write code as needed.
- Moderate understanding of the mechanical and hydraulic processes; diagnose problems as needed.
Minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1-3 years heavy industrial electrical experience required.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
- Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
- Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
- Able to work rotating shifts to meet the demands of production.
