Description of the role:

We are seeking a Summer Associate Degree Student Intern that specializes in Mechanical Design/Engineering to join our team!

On any given day, you may be called on to:

  • Create & modify mechanical models & drawings using CAD software, while incorporating GD&T-based tolerancing schemes to describe the engineering intent of the parts/assemblies.

  • Learn appropriate part-defining definition methods.

  • Increase understanding of product definition requirements.

  • Update models and drawings per engineering change orders.

  • Other projects as assigned by a staff mentor

Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.

Minimum qualifications:

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

  • Currently attending and enrolled full time in the spring term immediately preceding the internship (or scheduled to graduate in the spring) in an accredited undergraduate program

  • Pursuing a science, engineering, or math major

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0

  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer

  • U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, asylees or refugees in the U.S.
