ITAC Assessments and Production Effefficiency

My main job is keeping the lines running on schedule. Can an ITAC assessment help with production efficiency, or is it just for energy efficiency?

Assessments look at both. For example, if your setup times are long, we might recommend standardizing tools or procedures to cut changeovers. If machines sit idle waiting for materials, we look at layout or scheduling improvements. These productivity recommendations reduce wasted time and help you meet schedules more consistently.

We’ve got operators spending a lot of time walking between stations. Is that something you address?

Yes. That’s a classic productivity issue. Rearranging the floor layout so tools, materials, and controls are closer to where they’re needed can save hundreds of labor hours per year. Those time savings are valued based on labor rates and show up in your report as quantified productivity gains.
