I saw a post on social media - I think LinkedIn - about a grant program to help install energy efficiency measures at manufacturing sites. I can’t find the post. Is this grant still available?
The grant you have heard about is the ITAC Implementation Grant https://www.energywerx.org/itac. Qualifying small and medium sized US manufacturing facilities can apply for the grant to implement recommendations at up to 50% of qualifying project costs with a maximum of $300,000 per grant.
That’s nice to hear, is there a requirements for qualifying for the grant?
Yes, as mentioned above in addition to facility being small and medium sized manufacturing type, to qualify for implementation grant, the facility should have received an ITAC, Onsite Energy/CHP TAP, or qualified equivalent assessment since 2018. You can find more information about the grant along with instruction on how to apply in the grant portal here: https://www.energywerx.org/itac.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
